PUBLIC ADVISORY: MV Northern Ranger ceasing passenger service

Nunatsiavut Marine – November 17, 2014 

Nunatsiavut Marine would like to advise the public that this is the last week of passenger service aboard the MV Northern Ranger for the 2014 season.

This cease in operations is due to ice development in Lake Melville.  Passenger service will officially end upon the vessel’s next arrival to Black Tickle, which is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, November 23, weather permitting.

The MV Northern Ranger is currently expected to depart Happy Valley-Goose Bay for the north coast on Wednesday, November 19. The vessel will return to Happy Valley-Goose Bay before departing for the south coast and onward to Lewisporte.
