Nunatsiavut Group of Companies has hired Wayne Broomfield to be the first Manager of its subsidiary company, NGC Nunatsiavut Solutions Inc. (NSI). NSI provides logistics and remote camp operations expertise to clients in Labrador and beyond. NSI’s marquee project is the operation of the Torngat Mountains Base Camp and Research Station located at Saglek Bay near the southern boundary of the Torngat Mountains National Park – Wayne’s role includes that of the Base Camp Manager for this spectacular facility. Wayne has extensive experience in managing base camp operations in support of mining companies in Labrador. He is a beneficiary of the Labrador Inuit Land Claims Agreement.
