Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high level of customer service with shippers;
- Preparing daily financial reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness;
- Data entry, filing documents, and other office duties as requested;
- Contribute to a team effort in completing daily tasks;
- Receive customer requests by phone and/or email;
- Generate bills of lading for freight shipments;
- Prepare freight manifests prior to vessel departure;
- Check in customers; collect fees for services rendered;
- Other duties as assigned by the employer.
Qualifications:
- Office Administration certification with 1-2 years of experience. Combination of relevant edu-cation and/or experience will be considered.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
Assets:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other related computer programs.
