Adam Brown, Vice-President of Operations

Adam Brown is the executive in charge of Nunatsiavut Construction Inc. His previous experience includes 15 years in the consulting industry, specializing in the design and construction of commercial and residential land development projects in Alberta and Nova Scotia. While managing partner at a planning/engineering firm, Adam worked for NGC as a consultant before taking the position of Vice President Operations. He received his BSc in Civil Engineering from University of Alberta, holds a PMP designation, and an EMBA from the University of Fredericton. He has travelled extensively and has lived in both Asia and in South America, and loves the Labrador Coast. Adam’s focus is executing business strategy within NGC, with a focus on building construction capacity at NCI.

Tom Lyall, General Manager

Tom Lyall joined NCI after a distinguished career in private business. As a consultant, Tom had more than 18 years’ experience in Industrial, Commercial & Residential Construction Projects. He has extensive Business Management experience and credentials in Construction Administration, Project Management and Program Development experience for a diverse selection of Labrador based Projects.

Some of Tom’s recent Labrador-focused projects include:

  • Voisey’s Bay Mine Site Engineering Services
  • 5 Wing Goose Bay Contaminated Sites Remediation Project
  • construction administration involving Toromont Cat, Woodwards, Battlefield, and Hotel North.

Tom has considerable experience and exposure related to Issues Scoping with regards to the process used to focus the environmental assessment on issues and concerns identified by various stakeholders. He also has a keen understanding of Traditional Knowledge and the vital role that it plays in the Environmental Assessment Process associated with Labrador Projects. Tom is a Nunatsiavut Beneficiary.

Jennifer Saunders, Office Manager

Jennifer provides all administrative functions for NCI, including accounts payable and receivable, and is an integral part of the management team. Jennifer’s previous experience includes more than 15 years of office administration at the Executive level in a variety of industries, including airlines, customs brokerage/freight forwarding, and diamond drilling. She has extensive experience in both Alberta and Labrador.  Born and raised in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Jennifer has a Diploma in Business Administration from the College of the North Atlantic, and is currently working on her BBA through Memorial University.

Keith Hillier, Logistics

Keith has an extensive background in trucking and warehouse logistics.  He keeps equipment and material organized and ready for work at the warehouse and in the yard.  Born and raised in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Keith has the local knowledge and the contacts for getting things done efficiently. Keith possesses Transportation of Dangerous Goods certification, and handles paperwork for all dangerous goods traveling by land, sea and air.
